Cherry Blossoms Watercolor

Here’s my rendition of a cherry blossom. I’d like to paint them with more detail in the future. I was going for cheerful and sunny. To see my other stuff, go here.

Wisteria Watercolor

After buying a watercolor book (see previous post), I decided to try to paint a wisteria flower. After many attempts, this one was the best. As you can see, I lifted some paint out for light, did some negative painting, and painted the branch with a flat brush instead of the usual round. I’m almost getting there. haha 🙂

Watercolor Flowers Book

I may have bitten off more than I can chew. Look at this cover. Tell me this isn’t for an expert watercolorist! 🙂 But I’m ambitious and I’m into crashing and burning. haha.

I plan on doing an iris and wisteria – although not exactly like the photos – just the main elements of it – I’m not crazy – I know my limits! haha 🙂 Wish me luck! 🙂
