Yesteryear Roses Watercolor

Another rose attempt with a spiffy, colorful background in neutrals. To me, this has kind of an ‘old’ feel hence the name. No real plan here – just paint. There are so many talented artists among my WordPress friends – I hope I can be as good as you guys some day.

My Fair Roses Watercolor

Here’s my attempt at roses again. I got to use some of my new brushes and pens in this one. I’m loving my new fat juicy quill! I’m also sportin’ my new Indigo and Prussian Blue paints. Hope you likey. 🙂

Ice and Fire Trees Watercolor

This is a watercolor I did that’s been majorly digitally enhanced for softness and color. The G’Mic filters I used was Rodilius (dark), Dream Smoothing, and Boost Chromaticity. I used the wet on wet technique for the background, then dry on wet with the fan brush. Swiped with my Rigger and voila! Super colorful, cornea-burning trees. Continue reading
